The MS 150 Bicycle Tour 2008 is over – It was great! Thank you for
your Support!
This ride
(my second MS150) was just perfect despite very cold temperatures in the
morning and strong winds (headwinds of course). The
distance was 195 miles
from Houston to Austin
(incl. 20 miles more for me because I started again from the Woodlands).
About 13,000
bikers participated,
as a way to help the thousands of Multiple Sclerosis victims.
With the generous help of my supporters I was able to fulfill my
donation pledge and my duty as fundraiser.
It was a
great
weekend
and I enjoyed the company of very nice people!
We started on Saturday April
12st
at 6:30 AM for 110
miles
from the Woodlands.
Spent
the night with
the
Cameron
team
in
a tent in La Grange, TX and then continued the next morning for another
85
miles to Austin.
The
support of the Cameron Team was more than perfect! Thanks to all the
volunteers who made that happen.
I shall
do it again in 2009.
